    I make this all the time but a little different to make it easy.

    1 hot 1 mild breakfast sausage
    1 half gallon D milk
    Onion

    Brown sausage
    Add 9/10 of the milk
    Bring to simmer
    Use the last of the milk and mix with a few tablespoons of corn starch and add

    Pillsbury biscuits lol
