First run of my Tailgater and I’m smoking a spatchcock chicken at 375° to 165° IT. Fine for the first 30 minutes now temp is dropped to 270° and continuing. Thanks in advance.

*What seasoning did you use?
*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

So the temp went down to 250° and then gradually rose back up to 375°. Is that normal? I had a big GMG smoker in the past that was pretty consistent until it shit the bed one day.

That’s a big drop, I wonder if there was a gap in the auger where there were no pellets or something ? That seems way too big to be a temp swing. When I had my Traeger it could swing 20 degrees but that was about the furthest it would.
