Tomato Chutney
Ingredients :
2tbsp Oil
2 Panda Red Chillies
8 – 10 Curry Leaves
2 Small Onions
3 Medium Sized Tomatoes
1tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Water
1 Chilli
1/2tbsp Sugar
Juice Of Half Lemon
1/2 Cup Water

Tadka
1.5tbsp Oil
1tsp Mustard Seeds
8 – 10 Curry Leaves

Method :
1. Heat oil in a kadhai. Add red chillies and curry leaves. Let it Crackle.
2. Add onions and cook till light golden brown.
3. Add tomatoes. Mix Well.
4. Add salt and cook till tomatoes are soft and mushy.
5. Add 1/2 Cup Water and bring to a boil.
6. Cover & cook for 2 – 3 mins till tomatoes are completely soft.
7. Turn off flame and cool the mixture.
8. Add to a blender with chilli, sugar, lemon juice and water. Blend it to a smooth paste.
9. Pour in a bowl.
10. For tadka, heat oil in a pan. Add mustard and curry leaves. Let it crackle.
11. Pour on chutney and mix well.
12. Enjoy with idli, dosa, medu vada and parathas.
