Connecting natural gas grill – what adapter do I need?
Hi all – bought a new (used) Weber natural gas grill, and was wondering if anyone could identify the adapter I’d need to connect my gas line to the grill’s hose. Photo attached. Many thanks!!

Looks like it’s missing a coupler.

If the male end the hose is too big to fit into the push-in connector on the supply line, you need to find a new push-in coupler that it will fit but also matches the pipe of the gas supply line.

I’m going to ask the stupid question that if you know how the coupler works. The female end looks pretty old and sometimes the outer sleeve won’t slide down to allow the ball bearings to open.
Otherwise you just need to figure out the size of the weber male end and buy the correct female to replace the old one. Just make sure you shut off the gas. If you’re really new to this look up some videos on it or worst case scenario hire a has fitter. I’m guessing that the weber is 1/2 inch while the existing coupler is 3/8?

Just take the male and female ends to a hdware store and replace w/ the correct pair—-

Thanks all – I decided to call a plumber rather than DIY’ing it. After 26 years in the fire service, I’m not going to chance messing it up and creating a hazard!

Don’t forget to change the heads on the grill. Typically come set up for Propane. The heads for Natural Gas are larger. There is a kit you can purchase that comes with Hose Set up and heads. Just FYI
