Stuffed Mozzarella Recipe

Here’s a recipe that combines stuffed mozzarella, meatballs, and chicken into a delicious stuffed meatball and chicken dish! This is a simple way to create stuffed meatballs, but with a twist that includes chicken and mozzarella for a richer flavor.

Stuffed Chicken Meatballs with Mozzarella
Ingredients:
1 lb ground chicken
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (use panko for extra crunch)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
8 oz mozzarella cheese (cut into cubes or use mini mozzarella balls)
1 cup marinara sauce
Olive oil for frying (or can bake them)
Instructions:
Prepare the meatball mixture:

In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Mix everything together until fully combined. It may be slightly sticky, but this is normal.
Stuff the meatballs:

Take a small portion of the chicken mixture (about 1 tablespoon) and flatten it slightly in your hand.
Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center, then wrap the chicken mixture around the cheese, rolling it into a ball. Repeat this process until all meatballs are formed.
Cook the stuffed meatballs:

You can either fry or bake the meatballs.
For frying: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Carefully add the meatballs, turning them to ensure they cook evenly on all sides. This will take about 8-10 minutes.
For baking: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the mozzarella is melted inside.
Finish with marinara sauce:

If you want a saucy finish, once the meatballs are cooked, pour marinara sauce over them and cook for an additional 5 minutes on low heat, letting the sauce warm through and the flavors blend.
Serve:

Serve the stuffed meatballs hot, with a sprinkle of fresh basil or parsley for garnish. Pair them with pasta, a fresh salad, or crusty bread to complete the meal.
