I saw a nespresso Verturo plus by Breville in target. (First photo). I always thought I should get the Verturo Pop because of the smaller size but did notice it is deeper than the plus.
My bf surprised me for Christmas and got me a Verturo Plus by DeLonghi. (Second photo)
What’s the difference if the model is the same but it’s by different brands?
Now that I’m looking at the full line of original machines and Verturo I am questioning if I have the right line at all. I’m more of a latte and cappuccino drinker. It seems the Verturo does espresso shots but also does coffee as if it’s like a larger size like americanos? And the original line does espresso shots and some have varying milk frothing attachments and they are a higher price point. I don’t do anything iced. I like caramel and hazelnut and seasonal holidays flavors in latte form. What is the best machine based off the types of drinks I make?

They are the same machine, just branded differently. They work identically
I have this one and it’s my favorite so far. I’ve had the Venturo Next and it lasted a year before it broke. I also hated having to “manually” close that one. This one is soooo much better. The auto close feature is worth it in itself! lol. Mine came with a frother but in have also purchased another Nespresso one off Amazon. I make an iced double espresso every day. I usually add milk and then make a cold foam with my frother using a combo of milk and sweet cream creamer. I suggest the Scuro and the Vanilla Almond double espresso!!! I like it this way much more than their regular coffee pods. Enjoy!!!!
This is the I have although I do wish I got the white one
I had almost all Vertuo and Original machines. This is one of the best Vertuo machines… The Next and the POP have lower quality. Just enjoy your coffee…
I got this one on black friday two years ago and it is still working great! I love it! BF made a good choice! The only difference between the two in the photos are the aesthetics. They are exactly the same machine, just branded by different companies and one has a round top and the other is flat top. Mine is the flat top. If you don’t want the versatility of also being able to use it to make coffee and will strictly use it for single shots of espresso, then you may benefit more from the original line. The pods are cheaper for that one.
Delonghi > breville. To me, the breville version of the vertuoplus tasted more watered down than the delonghi
i prefer espresso based drinks, too. if you accidentally buy regular coffee pods, just tap the coffee button twice, if it turns blue it pulls the pod as an espresso shot instead of a cup of coffee.
Personally I prefer the vertuo line over OL, even for espresso based drinks, just espresso is better in OL IMHO
