I’ve been really proud of myself – I’ve stuck to my plan for almost two months, been mostly doing coffee and OMAD, and am down 9 kg (~20 lbs)! However, yesterday I had the opportunity to try the Dubai chocolate that’s been making rounds on Instagram and I couldn’t resist. It was SO good, but that pistachio knafeh filling is the definition of calorie dense.

I’m trying not to beat myself up over it and am reminding myself that today is a new day. My weight is up, unfortunately, but I’m hoping that it’s not actual fat. Here’s to moving forward and not letting one day ruin our progress!

Well the good news to you is that a pound is roughly 3,600 calories. Assuming 1000 over is based on your deficit goal and not your maintnance goal thats probably not more than 1/4 if not 1/5 of a pound 😉

I will ALWAYS use up my calories on foods that I’ve never tried or only have the opportunity to try once. 100% worth it and no regret ever. Glad you enjoyed your dubai chocolate OP!

Saving our calorie count for those special and occasional treats is worth it! So glad you got to try the Dubai chocolate, I had it last year and went crazy on one whole bar. Zero regrets, the mix of chocolate and that creamy-crunchy pistachio knafeh filling was divine. I hear they’re doing a dark chocolate version, which I think has slightly lower calories. Definitely eying it for a future pick-me-up treat. 🙂
