TLDR of recent event…. ordered a box with a first box free ($120 off) coupon. It said delivered, but it wasn't, so I'm assuming it was delivered to the wrong adress or is rotting in a truck somewhere. I got a refund for the shipping cost and asked if I could have the discount back. They offered a different lesser discount, and I asked again for the original first box free discount back. They said they can't do that, but will give me a credit for the same amount.
So I get the $120 credit. I can't use it because some other discount has automatically been applied. I try removing it, but it automatically applies again during checkout, so I contact support. They originally tell me to use the credit on my next box after the discount has been used, because discounts/credits can't be used together. I asked again if they could please just remove the discount because I'm not spending more money on a box to use a credit for the following one. That defeats the point of a credit (and I'm probably cancelling after this headache)
The credit is visible in my account. They tell me multiple times that I CAN use the credit on my next box, the discount has been removed, that they're completely sure this has gone through.
That was a lie… I was charged for it. I didn't include all of the screenshots from both conversations because they were unnecessarily long, and some error was causing all chats sent to be duplicated. After asking for a refund, they tried to give me ANOTHER credit, which I declined until they refunded it to my card. Wtf??? Does anyone have similar experiences??
Also, why on earth would you offer someone a credit instead of a refund for a product they didn't receive?

Ah, the fine print strikes again proof that reading comprehension is still humanity’s toughest endgame boss. Stay sharp, folks; ignorance isn’t as blissful as it seems.
What exactly/how long is your sign up promotion for? At least in my experience, you can skip the boxes until the promo runs out, then you can use your $120 credit (so you aren’t paying more for lower discount meals in the mean time)
Not sure if that’s an exact resolution you want but might be an option.
