I am reposting this post as it was taken down for not including original tasting notes which I will leave in the comment section this time. I didn't have time to review/reply most of the comments on the deleted post so please feel free to comment again!
Hello Reddit! I am fairly new to Reddit and for my first post, I decided to share the wines I had on my recent flight from Boston to Dubai.
On the ground before take off, a generic Verve Cliquot(not pictured) was served. Once the doors latched but while still on the ground, a 2015 Dom Perignon was served.
Once the flight took off, I had a couple glasses of the Dom Perignon P2 with the caviar service. As I was tasing the champagne with the caviar, I thought the 2015 vintage DP would have paired better with the caviar but the P2 was delicious nonetheless.
With my meal I had two different white wines. The 2016 Ermitage de l’Orée and the Cotton Charlemagne Grand Cru. I got prettyyyyy tipsy after a couple of glasses and don’t remember too much (oops). But I do remember really enjoying the white burgundy.
I substituted my dessert course with a glass of Dow’s 40 Year Old Tawny Port. I admittedly don’t know much about dessert wine to make any judgement on the quality.
After my nap, I opted for a tasting of three red wines: Chateau Morton Rothschild 2003, Opus One 2013, and Richard G Peterson Pinot Noir 2021. Of the three, the Chateau Morton Rothschild really stood out and I ordered another glass of it.
I have included the wine list from the flight for anyone who is interested.

*Standout wines!
Why? Being at high altitude significantly affects your taste buds. This is hands down one of the worst subs on reddit.
sign me up for the P2
how would you say drinking up the air compares? konstantin baum did a video on this recently and was wondering if you’re drawing the same conclusions
This keeps being posted, like we get it.
Apparently I need to fly first class to Dubai soon …
Is this in addition to the 1st class ticket price or all inclusive?
The photo order suggests that you had like 7 glasses by the time you reached Bangor, ME
$12,000 fare. ~$1000 worth of wine
Have you seen the wine selection on my flight, lately?
We get it, you’re a high class escort with a taste for wine
This is annoying. Don’t mind CA burning. Hope you enjoyed that nap!
I’m guessing you don’t remember much of the flight 😂
you hiring??
Is it ok to down the whole bottle or just one glass?
Damn.
Nice!
A lot of people are giving you shit but I’m loving this. This is what I’m looking for in first/business class. Wish the other airlines stepped it up like Emirates. Flew KLM business recently but the wines could have been better
Holy smokes, what an amazing set of wines!
I”ll be on quite some business class flights upcoming weeks. Will be very kind to the stewards, even though it is in the middle of the night, so maybe they give me a try of their first class selection.
Oh you RICH rich 👀
Mate, this has been posted like 5 times.
You good, OP?
eat the rich.
The Corton Charlemagne from Latour is my all time favorite Chardonnay.
