My family is Sicilian, I grew up with it. Our family recipe is a bit different but I think you did a good interpretation of it. We have a rich chicken broth with pieces of chicken, our meatballs are small beef morsels. We use the same ingredients other then that. The marriage is between the chicken and the beef.
