Viral Turkish Pasta
Making a vegan version of the viral Turkish pasta! Wasn’t sure how this would come out and wow was I ever impressed! I’ll definitely be making this again!
Ingredients
12oz cooked pasta
Chopped cherry tomatoes
Chopped parsley
Vegetable oil
Meat:
12-16oz ground vegan meat
1/2 onion, diced
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper
1 tsp paprika
Yogurt sauce
1 cup vegan friendly yogurt
2-3 tbsp minced garlic
1/3 tsp salt
Butter sauce
1/4 cup vegan butter
1 tbsps paprika
Directions
In a large bowl add your yogurt, garlic and salt
Mix well
Refrigerate until ready to use
Heat a little oil in a large pan over medium
Add in your vegan meat
Crumble and cook until almost cooked down
Add in your onion
Cook for 2-3 minutes
Add in your garlic powder and paprika
Season with salt and pepper
Cook down until meat is starting to get crispy
Remove from pan
Return pan to heat
Add in butter
Once melted add in paprika
Whisk and remove from heat
Time to plate
To a bowl add your cooked pasta
Top with yogurt sauce
Add your browned meat
Drizzle with paprika butter sauce
Top with tomatoes and parsley
Serve and enjoy!
