It's cranberry orange, I followed a recipe from Sally's Baking Addiction.
This is before I added the glaze, and unfortunately I didn't get an after picture because it was cut into almost immediately.
It was probably a bit overdone, the middle was taking so long to set, it's deep pan.
Still tastes great though!

I used to have that pan. Used it once. Gave it to Goodwill. A lending library is a good place for it. How many nesting-dragon-with-eggs cakes do most people make?
There is a library a town or two over that does that. They have a massive collection because people keep donating them. Soccer balls, quarter and sheetpans, castles, cast iron mini-bundts, etc. One year the kids wanted to make Mom a cake for her birthday. They studied and looked at every single one and eventually settled on Batman.
That is really cool. I’ve always thought of creating a spreadsheet between me and my baking friends, whether it’s pans, molds, special use equipment, etc just because it’s silly for all of us to own those things when you could just be sharing something you use once a year.

Our library system does this! It’s great. I was able to try out a madeleine pan before committing to buying one. They’re fun to make and good so I wound up buying a pan.
