Very uncommon snow day here in Atlanta calls for some substantial reds.
*2019 Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Gevrey-Chambertin Les Dix Climats*
On the riper side. Tons of black fruits on the nose with a bit of a funky eucalyptus tobacco character that I typically associate with left bank Bordeaux. Fruit not super pronounced on the palate, but has the character of cranberry sauce with plenty of herbs. Texture and body is great, super silky with a long finish. 91pts
*2019 Louis Barruol Hermitage La Pierrelle*
Smidge lighter in color than the average Hermitage. Nose is huge, tons of baking spices and garrigue. Palate is full of rosemary, black olive, licorice, blueberry preserves, iron, and cherry chapstick (but in a good way). Medium-ish, fine, powdery, tannin. Really good for the price. 93pts

I love the dedication to the snow day. I’m the ATL as well and plan to start catching up to you shortly. Stay safe and warm.
