    Looks great. We make Dal often and it’s great with some pickled onions:

    – cut 1 or 2 medium red onions
    – put in jar
    – make pickle brine (150ml vinegar, 150ml boiling water, 2tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt)
    – fill jar to top with pickling brine, seal and leave to cool. Put in fridge for 24 hours.

    The pickles last about a week and go amazing on so many things.
