The 5 healthiest Christmas foods
A lot of Christmas foods are actually full of important vitamins and nutrients. Here are 5 of the healthiest Christmas foods.
unbranded – Lifestyle
Chefs at Redding family and fine-dining restaurants will prepare special Christmas dinner menus for diners who want a holiday meal without scrubbing pots.
Some restaurants plan to sell traditional turkey, ham and prime rib meals. Others will prepare non-traditional entrees. Most menus include at least one vegetarian option, and a children’s meal or menu on Christmas Day, restaurant managers said. You can also pick up holiday meals to go from most restaurants on the list below.
Managers at restaurants that require reservations recommended diners call to make them as early as possible.
For those restaurants that don’t accept reservations, managers recommended diners show up early for seating times before tables and booths fill up. Prepare to wait for a table if there’s a line.
While closing times are included in the list, some restaurants may close early, or offer alternative entrees, if they run out of supplies to feed customers, managers said. Hours can change, so it’s best to call before you come.
