Tri-tip is not a common cut down under (AUS), but picked some up at an Asian butcher as it was cheap and I’d seen it used in a few tacos on here.
Sliced into steaks and free-styled a citrus marinade. Grilled, then diced and quick-fried in the pan. Meat wasn’t as tender as I’d like (maybe overcooked a little), but the flavours were 🔥.
Perfect vessel for some of my favourite hot sauces (and to try out a newcomer).
