After having Tartine in SF a while back I’ve been looking for bread near me in the DMV area but haven’t so far and decided to learn to make my own. This was yeast based from overnight white from FWSY but want to get into levains soon.

    Wow it’s so pretty! I just made my first ever loaf and totally read the instructions wrong and let it proof room temp over night. I baked it anyway. It’s a little dense but it’s delicious so I’m going to count it as a win. I hope my next loaf can be half as beautiful as this!!!
