New to this… apologies. This was a great blend! Went great with steak and fondue. Asked my son what the mark up was I just paid for. He was impressed that they sold it at market price ($70.00) same as the store he works at.
# the lively raspberry, garrigue and smoked meat accents, which race
# toward medium-grained tannins. Petite Sirah, Syrah, Grenache, Zinfandel
# and Viognier. Drink now through 2029. 11,853 cases made.

Orin swift was great when Dave Phinney owned it but now Gallo has there dirty hands all over it and just by principle I won’t drink anything by shitty Gallo except an over priced high noon once in awhile.
Phinney is a big sell out. Makes a beautiful wine and then cashes out.

I had this about 9 years ago, and really liked it. I would be curious where my palate is with tasting now, especially with the gallo takeover of this label

There’s not a ton of good domestic Petite Sirah, but this one is stellar.
