V few of these register as “sushi” to me. Could you give us the rundown? What are we looking at?

  2. kkazukii

No thanks. Every “cheap” all-you-can-eat sushi place in Japan beats whatever this is

  3. TennisPleasant4304

Did you go to another restaurant after to have dinner?

  4. bohden420

Why is everyone hating so much? Shit looks bomb to me. Fuck you jealous ass haters

  5. CarbonChem95

I’m so confused. Like I don’t dislike it, but pics 1 and 12 just don’t look like food to me lol

  6. Artistic-Comb-5932

Remind me not to go to Barcelona for sushi

  7. EMOTIONN_Official

Had to say best dining EXPERIENCE because the food was probably mid and had to justify why you went lol

I have no doubt the food was great.

However, why does it look like it was plated in a college apt after every dish in the place was dirty? I’m certain one of those things is a dollar tree ash tray. (10?), or the drain pan of a fucking house plant.

Out of 12 photos, I see 4 that could pass as sashimi, and zero sushi so far…

I’m sure the food was outstanding and the ingredients were very fresh. It’s Barcelona after all.

is the sushi here in the room with us?

Some of these atrocities belong on r/wewantplates

I do understand the hate, this should probably be labeled closer to a kaiseki experience rather than sushi.

But people are also pretty ignorant about the existence of otsumami, which is normal in sushi restaurants.

I think if op would’ve elaborated on their experience, it would’ve made the post more likable. Yes the food looks really good, but what is it? There’s very little traditional sushi, so do we even call this a Sushi menu? What made this the best dining experience of your life. It’s clearly great looking food, but please elaborate.

    Respectfully, this looks like ass.

I see similar reactions here than in classical music forums when you present classical contemporary music. Interesting. In any case: I was in Koy shunka once and I remembered quite different. Was it a menu or similar? Let us know!

  16. NukaDadd

I’ll take AYCE over whatever this is. This just looks sad.

  17. Artificiald

    “Lmao I can’t believe they’re eating it.”

  18. strongofheart69

Nice plates. But where is the food?

  19. AttiaTheHun

Probably delicious but what is the rationale behind half the dishes looking like something’s bleeding in them 😭 what in the plating

  20. Slacker_75

I’d be starving after this dinner. And also broke. And oh so hungry. Nowhere to go, nothing to eat, everything is closed now.
Even if one was open I’d have no money after this meal, and I’d have to try and goto bed hungry in the night.

Perhaps the Michelin star is because you have to drive to another restaurant after eating here?
