Being on my own this Sunday morning, I decided to play with my food and try to make the famous omelette Mère Poulard. The fluffy plain omelete wasn’t that difficult to make, but it certainly is a solo endeavor. Once the egg is whipped to the right consistency, you have to cook it and eat it quickly because the puffy eggs deflate quickly. Not a dish that works for gathering with family and friends. I will save this for alone times.
