„Germknödel“ Pancakes with poppyseeds, sugar and vanilla sauce

Germknödel is an Austrian (and maybe Bavarian?) yeast dumpling filled with plum jam and topped with a mixture of poppy seeds and powdered sugar and some vannila sauce/melted butter on top.
