Learned from the dessert subreddit that this is a ratatouille, which I thought was the little rat in the chef’s hat but it’s also this! 😂I used the Apple Tart recipe by Samantha Seneviratne on the NYT Cooking App & Inspired Taste’s Easy Flaky Butter Pie Crust recipe is always my go to. I was worried about the crust getting so brown but it tasted super good/ I wish I let the apples go a little longer. Either way, a fun bake and I’m glad I had the assortment of different apples!

To be exact, in the film Ratatouille it’s not a Ratatouille but a confit byaldi which itself is a mixture of ratatouille and tian niçois! 😊
But it’s a wonderful apple tart, and I’m willing to devote myself to try it! 🥰
