This Thai peanut sauce took only 15 minutes to make. Can be served over rice noodles with fresh cilantro, grated carrots, peppers and bean sprouts. You can add a protein of your choice.
In a sauce pan,
Sautee up 3 gloves of chopped garlic, 1 TBS fresh ginger chopped, 1-2TBS red Thai chilli paste.
Once cooked add
1/2 cup chicken broth
1TBS fish sauce
1-2 TBS brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 TBS lime juice
3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk.
Bring to a gentle boil. Let it cool and thicken, or serve warm right away.
