Bought six bottles and this was the last one. Drank it while eating steak au poivre, asparagus and a baked potato. Spectacular pairing.

Did a tour in Bordeaux a while back and the tour guide had tried all the major Chateau etc and this was his favorite producer. Any tasting notes?

PS Tertre Rotebouef means “hill of the belching cow” or something like that.

Excellent wine and one of my favorite! Havn’t tried the 2005 vintage but the 2004, 2006, 2010 and 2011 were all amazing. Always have the cotton candy mouthfeel when first opened and so enjoyable to drink over 3 hours or more, keep evolving in glass.
