Random sandwich that we often make, and very affordable. It totals up to $3-4 at Walmart if you already have eggs and balsamic vinegar at home. May not be everyone’s ideal egg sandwich but the people I’ve fed it to have enjoyed it
French baguette, flattened and toasted
Eggs
Tomato and onion
“Candied” fried brown sugar onions
Balsamic vinegar
We usually don’t put any sauce on it, the vinegar does the job. In these photos specifically there is a remoulade sauce.

Looks pretty freaking good! Never thought about flattening a baguette before. Looks good!
FWIW – That doesn’t look like a baguette. It looks like what we call “French bread” in the states. Not taking anything away from it, just clarifying for people trying to recreate
