I did not know yucateco went that hard. I always saw them as one of the more flavorful table sauce options but still pretty vinegar flavored but these seem like they’d be worth trying.

  2. I’m not much for vinegar, but their regular habanero is a decent fixer for the salsa you get at Mexican restaurants. I really hope the habanero and ghost makes it to those tables.

But the Marisquera Red I really want to try. I have more tolerance for vinegar with seafood.

I’ve got the habanero + chiltepen, it’s alright.

Hab and grilled pineapple? I would like to find this.

  5. What store is this in? I’ve been trying to find that pineapple one

  6. The pineapple one is great, the ghost one tastes like raisins, though.

  7. I currently have the habanero and ghost one and it’s got a lot more kick than I was expecting. Still not super spicy, but much better than anything else found for the norm. Only complaint I have is that it has an initial sweet taste to it that I’m not a fan of.

Habanero and Chilteptlin has a 50th anniversary cap cover, while Habanero and Ghost has a 55th. The Habanero and Pineapple says established in 1968, so we have:

Hab and Chiltepin is from 2018

    Hab and Ghost is 2023

    So new-ish?

Edited because I can’t spell. Or format on mobile.

The habanero chiltepen is one of my favorites. The burn grabs you up front, but seems to dissipate rather quickly.
