As someone who lived in philly for 10 years I hesitated to try cheesesteaks elsewhere. But after a few recs I decided to break the dry spell with this one. Definitely hit the spot with the flavors/texture of the meat. Would definitely recommend. It's a bit of a different take on it but really delicious. I would say the biggest divergence is the bread. A few places in philly use sesame seeded rolls but this one was a thinner, sweeter bread (brioche-y?). Overall great experience, now I need to go try Montis because everyone here is so fond of it.
