This old girl has been going for 6 and a half years or so. One round of replacement parts so far and due for another.

2004 Weber Geniuses. I have replaced the flavorizer bars once, the original ignitor still going strong!

Weber genises from 2011 at home, nothing needs replacing, but the knobs are pretty faded. Have a Special edition with stainless grates – I love stainless.
Napolean prestige 500 at the cottage from 2006 or so – have replaced shields and one knob. Its a beast.
Have another Napolean prestige 500, but its like 2016 or so. No issues there yet.

My grandpa had a Chicago Combustion corp grill from the 80s before he passed. Think my uncle has it now but he’s uh…not the best at maintaining literally anything so I bet it’s fallen apart

1999 all stainless DCS! Replaced the burner tubes once and the flavorizer bar trays twice. Still going strong and will probably outlast me. Paid over $2K then and it’s been a great long term investment!

I have a Weber Genesis Silver B Natural Gas from 2002 that I inherited from the previous homeowner when I bought my current house. He left me the receipt! Older fella, (the owner, and the grill, I guess!) so the grill was in a bit of disrepair. I replaced the grates, flavor bars, got a cover, and cleaned her up with grill cleaner and she’s good as new. The frame is rusty but still holding together. I use it once or twice a week for the last 4 years. It’s also seemingly on the original starter which still works great!

Got a Weber Genesis Gold, hard to remember exactly when, but I’m pretty sure it was right after I bought my house in ‘96. $500 or $600 dollars from Home Depot. Stays outside in the south Florida elements all the time, no cover. Lower stand got some rust but looks like it still has years before it gives me problems. I’ve replaced the wheels, used Weber parts and replaced the flavor bars. The grills are still in good shape, I was going to replace them anyways when I got the new flavor bars but I saw the price and skipped it. The hose that runs from the tank to the grill has given me problems a few times. The heat shield that protects the lid from the inside is starting to break. I was looking to see if I could replace it but couldn’t find it sold separately, have to buy the complete lid, around $600. I plan on using it till it dies but to be honest I wouldn’t mind upgrading it for something a little larger with maybe one of those sear options.

I’ve got a Weber genesis my wife and I bought 12 years ago. It’s still in great shape every fall I crank it on high and burn everything off. Clean out the inside real well and store in garage. I’ve had to swap out the metal burner covers and the grates. Also a new starter. Other than that it’s all original parts. Best $700 I ever spent.

Parents still have their Genesis Silver from like 2003 or so that has sat outside uncovered for its entire life including during the Midwest winter. Many flavorizer bars and burner replacements later it’s still going strong.

I have a Weber Genesis 1000 from the 90’s that I found on market place. Thing still runs like a champ. I have it more so for nostalgia sake since that’s what my dad grilled on when I was a kid. Still use it pretty often though especially when time is limited and I don’t have time to wait for charcoal.
