I really wanted pasta, cheese and ice cream today. So, safe to say, I reached my budget so fast. 😂

I weighed the pasta, but totally forgot about the cheese, so the cals are probably inaccurate. I also realized I should eat more fruits and vegetables…

    I think a day like this here and there is going to happen for a lot of people, especially when you’re craving comfort foods.

    But realistically, you’ll want to plan out your meals in advance to be a lot more balanced than this or you’re missing out on a lot of nutrients your body needs to sustain itself, especially if you’re doing a deficit. Lack of fibre is going to be one of them – and everything else you’re missing out on will just mean you’re going to get hungry a few hours after eating anyway

    Next time you crave pasta try angel hair, I had a huge bowl yesterday, cooked 85gr pasta tha’s 300 calories and got 260+gr cooked, with 4 cheese pasta sauce and grated parm the whole meal was 450. and it cookes in 4-5 minutes too!

    If you’re in the US, you should check out Yasso bars. I bought them after reading about them on this sub and it’s changed the game for me. They are so low cal, so I can eat healthy throughout the day and then have a treat at night. I think their chocolate coated bars are around 150 calories.

    This is too relatable 😂 have you tried the yasso ice cream bars?? Only 100 cals per bar & I often have like 2-3 lol

  8. I think (unless you’ve eaten another 3 plates of pasta the size of the one you’ve shown here) you’re miscalculating badly.

    What I think you’ve done is weigh your **cooked** pasta but used an entry for raw/dry/uncooked pasta.

    That is not what 183g of pasta weighed raw looks like!

    You need to try Shirataki noodles. It’s only 10 calories per 200g. Tastes delicious and it’s filling.
