Just the two meals? By fast math, I don’t think this is enough calories.

How are you hitting all your minerals and vitamins? I don’t see a single vegetable there. This is super bad for you.

How many calories are the potato and how did you cook it?

OMG This looks exactly like what I eat most of the time. I used to have chicken breast and sweet potato with ketchup everyday for months (although sometimes I had a side of cooked frozen veggies).

Nothing but love to your dear but please for your health start adding in some veggies and fruits. Maybe try your chicken on a bed of fresh spinach, or lettuce! Turn your egg & meat meal into a scramble together with spinach, green onions, tomatoes, or peppers? Baby steps.

Not to rain on your parade, but you gotta mix it up a bit. Eating the exact same thing every day over a long period is *very* bad for you. Also, you seem… let’s say *light* on vegetables and fruit. Try adding in some apples and oranges, or some broccoli and carrots. Maybe switch up the potatoes for rice or pasta sometimes.

How many calories is this? I’m worried it might not be enough to sustain and nourish you, especially if you’re also working out.

Thought I was on r/1200isjerky for a second there

Are you ok, OP? Is this a depression thing? A budget issue? A sensory problem? Burnout? An ED? Hopefully you have the support you need and deserve.

Can you at least add some broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, carrots, and/or leafy greens in there? Your gut flora need the fiber, you need the antioxidants, and your brain needs to rewrite itself a bit to learn to enjoy vegetables and other diverse things. Get a bit of yogurt or sauerkraut in there for probiotics, and yogurt or tofu in there for calcium. Maybe some legumes and fruit too. A multivitamin is not gonna cut it.

Try to set a goal of having a (fresh, canned or frozen) vegetable every meal, if that all the aforementioned feels too overwhelming to do at once.

i don’t think this is enough calories for a full day…

also you need more fibers in your diet. gotta keep your colon microbiome happy.

  12. I don’t want to dogpile on you OP….i see in a comment you mention some sensory issues.

Maybe make a post with your safe foods and textures and all of us can try to help you out with some recipes and ideas??

I know there are some moms here with picky eaters who could hide a vegetable in a glass of water!!

  13. I’m the same way! I eat the same foods nearly everyday of my life unless I’m on vacation. It does make me run into occasional deficiencies though
That I have to supplement. Do your blood work and keep on top of that! Otherwise keep doing what works for you!

  14. People are really hounding on this post, and really do make valid points about nutrition, but at first glance I wouldn’t have bated much of an eye. I sometimes go months will the same meals too. It’s mainly an autism thing for me though. Not trying to insinuate anything about OP, but I’ve had similar sensory issues because of it.
