First time making authentic Alfredo sauce (just Parmesan, butter & pasta water). Chicken broccoli Alfredo came out really good!

    Step by step pics above. This is roughly 12oz pasta. 2/3 lb chicken. One head of broccoli. 4oz Parmesan. 5 tbsp butter. About 1/2 cup pasta water. Salt & pepper.

    Cook the chicken and broccoli, grate the Parmesan, cook the pasta. Add to a shallow pot on low heat all the ingredients including the half cup pasta water, mix thoroughly then shut off heat, let sit for a minute. Mix thoroughly again and serve!

    I thought you needed heavy cream for Alfredo. This looks good

    Toss your chicken in a little bit of corn starch and let sit for about 20 mins and your chicken will be perfect for this. Not that yours looks bad or anything!
