It tasted pretty alright to me but I do think it could’ve stayed on a bit longer, will improve next time around

    I’d do you one better: you could have used a hotter pan. The cook in the middle looks just perfect, but if you wanna achieve that and a good sear, you gotta go hotter,

    Sure the sear could be better but I’d eat the hell outta that. My question is, what is that side?

  3. The internal temp is perfect but I’d take it well seared medium over a medium rare with no sear.

    I agree with the heat being a little higher. More caramelized exterior that way.

    People always mention high heat but what’s equally important is low moisture. Too much moisture on the exterior will kill your sear. All that being said, I’d gladly eat that steak.

    Steak looks pretty decent if not pro level, those fucking eggs though…My dear friend they look like dried out play-doh from a snot infested kindergarten classroom.
