Cheese filled Turkish pide with minced meat
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
Salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
Half cup milk
Yeast mixture:
2 tsp instant yeast
1 tsp sugar
Half cup water
3 tbsp flour
1/4 cup water
Minced meat mixture:
250 gram minced meat
1 onion medium
1 tomato medium
6 tbsp tomato puree
3 garlic cloves
Salt
1 tsp paprika
1tsp oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp corrinander powder
Mozzarella cheese
Method:
Mix all the ingredients of the yeast mixture in luke warm water and rest it for 15 mins. Now mix all-purpose flour, yeast mixture,oil, salt, and milk and knead a semi soft dough. Rest it for at least 2 hours and make small balls.
In a pan Sauté onion and garlic. Now add minced meat to it and cook for 5 mins. Add chopped tomatoes and tomato puree to it followed by salt and mentioned spices. Let it cook for 15-20 mins and assemble it as shown in the video and bake it for 5-7 mins.
