    Classic. For a variation, my kids like when I stir in drained/rinsed kidney beans at the end of cooking the sausage. Then serve over or with white rice. It’s a go-to in our house.

    Have you ever done kale mashed potatoes with smoked sausage? That was a classic for me growing up.
