maybe this is a dumb question-
usually with frozen foods you weigh them frozen, but the real good chicken doesn’t specify. normally i wouldn’t question it, but if 4oz of cooked chicken breast is ~120 cals, and these chunks are 130 for 4oz, wouldn’t it make sense to weigh them defrosted?

you have it wrong. this chicken is already cooked, you do not have to adjust the cooking label. The water that disappears from the frost in your freezer is negligble weight.
If the chicken were raw, you would want to be concerned with it’s pre and post cooking weight, but that’s not the case here. So just follow the label.
I weigh it frozen.
Just had 2 servings of this in one plate and 240 calories for so much tasty chicken feels illegal. Heavily seasoned green beans, Skinny Girl Ranch, and a pickle to round out the dish. Delicious!
Frozen lol
Where do you buy them for 120 cals mine are130
I weight it frozen. It’s my obsession!
