**Taste:** For something so high in alcohol, tastes very smooth, a tad sweet. Aren’t Zinfandels supposed to be dry?
**Score:** 7 / 10 Deadly Zins
Got this bottle because it was less than 10 dollars and liked the punny name. I’m enjoying it quite a bit.

**Cheers to all the Zinners out there. May God forgive you** 🍷

Yeah. I’ve always found it quite drinkable, despite lesser reviews.

Yeah cheap easy drinking wine with enough sweetness to be a crowd pleaser. I won’t say no to it.

Not a bad Lodi Zin. A little sweet trying to draw in a broader audience at that price point most likely. Haven’t had in a few years now but have had many from the area recently.

Yes, zins are supposed to be dry. But this wine is not because it’s hot garbage.

I’m sure the toxic members and elitists of this sub are scoffing and judging this post but I love everything about it! Great notes, too!
OP if you’re interested in learning more about more traditional expressions of Zinfandel, the next time you’re in a wine shop, look out for Zins from Dry Creek Valley. Some of my favorite Zinfandels come from this area.
Cheers and have fun!

I recently opened a bottle of 7 Deadly Zins 2012 and enjoyed it. Per my notes it cost $22 USD at the time.
Edit: USD to clarify.

One year my husband, who is not a wine enthusiast, planned a valentines evening and consulted the internet for a wine. He picked 7 Deadly Zins and it was a fantastic, affordable choice.

I have drank a ton of this grocery store special. One of the first wines I drank on a regular basis.

Can’t say it’s my cup of vino but appreciate the proper notes. Cheers OP.
