I worked with a guy for a few years, Juan was his name, shorter guy, thin mustache, darker skin. So my Canadian brain goes “Mexican” So naturally I say Hola in the mornings all that kinda stuff…. quite a while goes by and he brings in these awesome pastries his wife made, with like a sweet cream filling. He says they are traditional Filipino pastry, I am like oh got your self a cute little Filipino hey wink wink. He’s like “Dude I am Filipino” ……..
