They're average at best, which makes me wonder how much worse Denver has for wings.

Every bar in every city was voted best wings in that city.

Anytime, anywhere you see “Cities best blank” is usually the worst in the city.

  3. That’s a mediocre $18 plate of wings if I’ve ever seen it

In general the food in Denver is average at best but it has more than its share of good wing spots. Fire on the Mountain is a favorite followed by CDs wings and King of Wings.

Look like wings I can get from literally any dive bar in my area.

A Coors light branded bar… I might have to travel to Colorado for research

I know this is blasphemy as a Colorado native myself, but I don’t like coors light, so I am not surprised these were mid.

If you fall for someone saying “x cities best whatever” you deserve to be disappointed. It’s marketing.

I’d put the blame on you for eating wings in an airport and expecting the “best”

  10. That’s like when you’re in some place like Emmetsburg, South Dakota and some hole in the wall place has a sign that says “world famous ribs!!” or some such nonsense

Wings are good no matter what. But, if they say BEST, it ain’t true.

CD’s wings for deep fried and King of wings for grilled wings. Best CO has to offer
