My daughter said she wanted cake this morning. How could I say no?
I baked a 6 inch heart shaped spice cake with cream cheese frosting. My girl is such a sweetie, so when she asked I knew it would be a fun project for us to do together. ❤️

Fuck society, we are allowed to have cake for breakfast.
I wanted to add, I realized half way through this recipe that I didn’t have oil, so I ended up using melted lard instead.lol The cake is tender, moist, and tastes great! I also added some cinnamon, a generous amount of ginger, nutmeg, and cloves to this recipe.
We had a blast!!
