Hey friends!
So I've tried many way to support my many heirloom varieties of tomatoes.
I can not figure out the Florida weave to save my life. Maybe I didn't use the correct twine or maybe it wasn't tight enough?
Cages are expensive and do not really support past a certain point and they take up lots of space in my suburban backyard garden.
So…I've been brainstorming. I saw some scrogg type netting for indoor growing and wondered if it could work outside. I would use some sort of sturdy posts and have multiple levels of nets as the plants grow.
Could this work? Thoughts?
I added a pic of something similar, but I would obviously need multiple levels for tomatoes.
