My partner has been bugging me to make this monkey bread for months now so I caved.. and heavens do I wish I made it sooner!! It’s basically the middle of a cinnamon roll but in every. single. bite 😩

Wish I had taken more progress pictures but I was in a bit of a hurry + forgot until it was already in the oven.

    Changes: I added roughly 1 1/2tsp powdered cinnamon to the dough mix. Also added 1tsp of vanilla extract to the glaze.

    Because I was short on time, instead of following step five of flattening/rolling and then cutting the dough into a bunch of pieces, I just tore the pieces off the main dough ball and made sure I had 50+. I actually preferred doing this because the alternating sizes of dough balls made it easier to pull off however much you wanted (and the time it saved).

    I probably I have to make this tomorrow. I am invited to a home party an it would be perfect to bring along. I will do a vegan and gluten free version. I’ll add some almonds just because, I guess I am going to blanch, pan roast, chop them and add to the cinnamon sugar mixture, save a few for the top before sugar glazing… I want it now
