So i opened this ready-made meal today for dinner and was just analyzing the packaging and noticed for total carbohydrates it says this serving of butter chicken was 72g?! Ive been a diabetic since i was 3 and i know guessing the carbs isnt usually my strong suit, but compared to the quantity of food this seemed like an outrageous amount of carbs? Ive also seen some not-so-thrilling total carbohydrate calculations for their other meals. Im just concerned with over-covering for this and wondered if anyone else felt this way. Max id consider for this in terms of carbs id like 52 (i know, not to far off, but depending on how much insulin you need this can be a huge difference)

So I can’t find this particular meal on my app, but just spitballing, assuming that’s basmati rice, a cup of cooked rice is around 50g of carbs. Then add in the peas, then the carbs from the sauce and I could see 72 grams being more or less accurate.
