For the same quality in Sweden I pay around 45-60 euros depending on the store/butcher and time of the year.

For the same quality in Brazil… Something about 45 to 50 reais.

My local asian grocery has US raised ribeyes for $9.99lb with crazy marbling. These are some of the best I’ve had.

  4. Yesterday here in Kingston, Ontario at one of our grocery stores 30$ / lb

At my local ALDIs the ribeyes are $11.49 usd per pound.

$9-$20 per pound, depending on the grade. American wagyu is probably around $30/lb.

Grocery store by me here in central Tennessee has choice ribeyes anywhere from $14-27 per pound. I usually only buy on sales if it’s near the low end and they look better than average for choice.

If I go get prime ribeye from Costco for like $18-22 per pound if I’m feeling frisky.

Approximately 20€/kg, 30 if you want better dry aged steaks

  9. hageOtoko

20-35 USD per kg, depending on the species and where you buy

That would be Choice and not even the best choice at that? I regularly find it for between $6 (sale price) and $12/lb. There’s so much of a beef culture where I live that getting amazing beef from almost anywhere isn’t hard.

At our local grocery in Ocala Florida, they had them on sale. $17.99lb, normally $26.99lb. Smh, we got top sirloin instead.

  12. The Australian beef we get here in the states is so freaking good. Average price of ribeye here is like 15-18/lb

Only buy it when it’s on sale for $9.99/lb. Anything else is too rich for my blood lol

$13-16 choice/prime at costco. $22/26 grass fed / grass fed and finished at whole foods (choice grade) $25 prime grass fed/grain finished at whole foods

Anywhere from $12/pound for choice at Walmart to $20/pound for prime at H-E-B. Honestly though, the Walmart Choice is usually better.

In the UK a very good 35 day dry aged Ribeye can cost about £38/kilo You can get them cheaper but you lose a lot of flavour and texture.
