Grocery store by me here in central Tennessee has choice ribeyes anywhere from $14-27 per pound. I usually only buy on sales if it’s near the low end and they look better than average for choice.
If I go get prime ribeye from Costco for like $18-22 per pound if I’m feeling frisky.

That would be Choice and not even the best choice at that? I regularly find it for between $6 (sale price) and $12/lb. There’s so much of a beef culture where I live that getting amazing beef from almost anywhere isn’t hard.

Anywhere from $12/pound for choice at Walmart to $20/pound for prime at H-E-B. Honestly though, the Walmart Choice is usually better.

In the UK a very good 35 day dry aged Ribeye can cost about £38/kilo You can get them cheaper but you lose a lot of flavour and texture.
