For homemade hummus, you’ll need:
1 can of chickpeas
tahini (3 tbsp)
juice of 1 large lemon
1 clove of garlic
salt (1 tsp)
cumin (1/2 tsp)
olive oil (2 tbsp – more for serving)
icy water (4 tbsp)
paprika
1. Wash a can of chickpeas in cold water and remove their skins.
2. Whisk together lemon juice and tahini.
3. Add chickpeas, garlic, salt, cumin, olive oil, and water.
4. Blend until smooth.
5. Serve on a plate, adding paprika, olive oil, and optionally a few chickpeas on top.
6. Enjoy with fresh veggies or pita.
