Like many of you, I'm sure, I've seen those "all you need is a frozen banana to make delicious ice cream" videos plenty of times, but today was the first time I've ever tried it- and all I can say is I'm so sad that I waited this long to try it. I could've saved so much on the Halo Tops!
I did add slightly more than just banana alone, but nothing that can't be adjusted. I was super surprised by the texture – I would never have expected it to be so creamy.
Here's how I made mine:
Two bananas, sliced and frozen (210 cals)
2 tbsps PB2 (60 Cals)
1 tsp vanilla (15 cals)
1/4 cup almond milk (7.5 cals)
I used a food processor, which is why I added almond mill- it was getting a bit tricky to blend without, but really came together afterwards. The picture above is about 1/3 of the finished product.
I hope anyone trying it enjoys it as much as me!
