Any of you spicy fellows tried this one?

  1. It’s not bad, a little bit of heat. I like Nissin Volcanic Mongolian Beef better.

I found it remarkably as advertised.

Which is to say,  it was almost exactly as spicy as it looked like from the packaging.

Hot enough that it satisfied,  but not so hot (like that one cup o’noodles type) that I had to dilute it or take my time.

Honestly,  just a pleasantly mid to mid-high level spicy Ramen bowl.

    8/10. Would definitely eat again.

Edit: I will note that I added a punch of salt and MSG.

Which seemed excessive considering it was already 71% of the RDA of sodium.

  3. Yeah. My tolerance is too high for this, but the flavor was good for a dry microwave product. My only complaint is the packaging design wastes a lot of water that doesn’t benefit the dish.

I’ve got like ten in the pantry.. Been debating cooking a few and adding bok choy and shaved beef.

I normally prefer packets and avoid microwave noodles, but I love keeping these around. Such a satisfying flavor and takes additional heat from peppers, sauce, etc really well.

    I just did this week.

While the water is boiling I boil 2 eggs, then cook the noodles after.

The creamy yolk fits so well on this.

I throw out the veggie packet and drain the water fully before I put the spice packet. Fucking awesome
