What is this “leftover steak” that you speak of?

Steak and eggs is the goddamn best

I also like to slice it real thin and put it on a toasted roll with some melted American cheese and mayo

I have yet to be disappointed in a next day steak sandwich

  4. Steak and eggs or just steak with onions and peppers, sautéed up. I stay away from carbs, but tacos or fajitas are an easy go-to. Maybe a little steak and cheese sandwich… If you want to get fancy, you could make a little steak and gravy over pasta, like a beef stroganoff.

When I grill, I do 2 or 3 steaks and some sausage. That way, I have good grilled meat for the week and can take it for lunch or whip it up quickly after work.

Cut it into bites and in a ziploc for snacking

  9. I recently added mine to black bean buldak ramen, and now I save a few ounces of my ribeye to add lunch the next day. Crave it! So good!

I’ve never had that kind of steak. Can you explain how you make that?

  11. I make hash browns and mix in cubed up leftover steak. Quick, 1 pan and tasty. Lots of seasoned salt, garlic powder & paprika to season while cooking.

Making ramen is pretty good. Ramen soup is pretty good on its own, especially if you get the fancier ones like nissin raoh or shin black. I like to boil the noodles first for about half the normal required time, then add the seasoning pack plus some extra seasonings like teriyaki, sesame oil, chili sauce, things like that, then I add in some frozen veg. Bring it back to a boil, then add my protein and crack an egg or two in, then cut off the burner but leave it on the hot iron covered for about two mins to parboil the egg. Makes a fantastic pot of soup.

I make steak sandwiches with caramelized onions. Usually with tri tip.

Corollary question – is there anyone like me who prefers to eat their leftover steak (in those rare instances it exists) cold because reheating it ruins the flavor? Or are y’all normal?

Fried rice IF there in fact is leftover steak

“Dee, nobody has ever woken up the next morning with leftover steak!”

Steak and eggs probably my top pick, especially if I have other stuff left over to make a left over scramble. Steak, add some seasoning salt, crispy potato something, roasted veggies, maybe even cubes of sourdough bread. Saute all together and throw in shredded cheese to stick together. Top with a couple dippy fried eggs and maybe some hot sauce. Occasionally comes out better than the original meal. Second choice, slice that steak down thin, more dry seasoning, splash of Worcester or au jus, provolone overload and melt down, stack high on soft rolls for cheese steak sliders or open face sandwich.
