  1. you did sarah from the east coast so dirty 😭 i think she meant for you to slice the chicken breast in half as if you were going to butterfly it but then slice it all the way through. then brush the glaze on (it /is/ a 'glaze') before baking… she even said you could get some colour on the chicken, which you can't do if you drown the chicken in the sauce like that lol granted her instructions were not super clear. i think you should give her recipe another try!

    i'm bulgarian not macedonian but it's basically the same. we usually have it with jam or honey and then the feta on top for a sweet-savory mix of you like that, or you can also sprinkle it with powder sugar! my mom usually adds a bit of salt when frying so that the toast has a flavor of its own. it's one of my favorite easy breakfasts to make!

  8. Indian here, to my knowledge the lentil in Dal Pithi is supposed to be cooked until its absolute mush.
    As for the Sheer Khurma, the nuts also need to be toasted in butter or ghee, and the consistency of the dish is supposed to be more pudding-like. It is also served at least luke warm, if not cold.
    I would highly recommend trying these dishes again some time.
