Sorting through my box of memories and found this gem. Wish I remembered more than the first 5 minutes, but my friends from culinary school and I were absolutely plastered from pregaming. Glad I have this proof though

As a gift to my groomsmen I got us tickets to see Bourdain in Cleveland years ago. Zamir was his opener, he was hilarious. Anthony was awesome and as engaging as he was on tv. I got a copy of Medium Raw signed as well. (Couldn’t find Kitchen Confidential in time)

Wife bought me a ticket to see him when he did a solo speaking tour not long before he died. Was always a fan, but it was odd how much you felt like you knew the guy given all the travel/food shows he did.
In person he was almost freakishly tall and thin though.

I have a similar ticket. Except it was to a “three sheets” live show with Zane lamprey. Wonder what he’s up to these days.

Wow, that’s quite expensive! Maybe consider cutting back on the drinks a bit, haha.

I saw him years ago. He was fucking amazing. I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes. I get those same tears when I think about the loss of him.
