  1. 18:08 everytime charlie says “ive never heard this one before” it gets more and more suspicious sounding 😂

  2. Wow Nanaimo-ite here, wild to hear my city mentioned lol – So glad y'all liked the food! Chef killed it.

  3. Kiwi here: just by the look of it the Nanaimo bar looks like a caramel slice, Crunchie bars are made by Cadbury so you can basically get them anywhere that Cadbury products are popular, and they're made of hokey pokey (which is basically solidified sweet foam I guess).

  4. Got foreign candy and coffee crisp are legit it astounds me theres isnt more coffee flavor candy in america

  5. Matt is 6ft? I'm 6ft.. I don't see many others that tall and sometimes forget that 6ft is actually tall. I see him in the video and go "man thats a tall dude".. do people say that about me? Am I thinking too hard about this?

  6. Me and a friend went to Canada a few years back and decided to try poutine in varying price ranges. Pleased to report even the fast food poutine cleanly stomped any appetizer you could get at any American fast food. The best by far though was from a pub in Lethbridge, it had some sort of ground meat, bacon bits, a little sour cream, dear lord I get hard just thinking about it

  7. Im actually really happy they got something fairly accurate to a real Tourtière and not just a meat pie. Usually we do put gravy, or ketchup, but if you're from Lac Saint-Jean (where it originates from) we also put pickled beets which really help cut some of the dryness from the pastry and meats and tastes awesome:)

  8. I remember a Guitar Hero 3 comp. it was some projector outside. Unfortunately it was just the first 4 songs available, so it got repetitive real quick as the people tried it out.

Who knows, maybe we were at the same place

  9. Am I the only Canadian who is confused by some of these dishes?

I've never seen a tourtiere with potatoes in it (but it looked good), and the poutine seemed to have peas in it (the only time I've seen that is at Smokey's poutine).

The butter tart is all wrong. What BBNO$ may have been thinking of was pecan pie. Pecan pie would potentially have vanilla ice cream, but never have I seen ice cream in butter tarts. The size, shape, the filling is WAYYYYY wrong, the density is weird, the crust … it ain't right. Why do I feel personally attacked by that thing you all called a butter tart? My soul died.

BBNO$ the ginger beef can be found on Chinese menus in Ontario and Alberta. But the style you ate was more akin to Alberta (and I miss it), but it's usually a little crispy, like bar food. Actually, I forgot that is on non Chinese bar menus in Edmonton, and Calgary. Ontario ginger beef isn't even near the same, and that used to make me sad. (I didn't know this was a Canadian thing).

Lol @ the eating the Nanaimo bar with a fork… I've never seen anyone do that lol. This is a hand eat item, like a chocolate bar, or cookie. That was so cute. 😊

    Last thing, it's pronounced "tort-tierre". 😂😊😊😊❤

  10. 3:17 Wasn't it 4 colonies? Quebec, New Brunswick, Ontario, Nova Scotia. (Quiet nerds burp only near school)

  11. As a Canadian, maple toffee is first reduced to concentrate the sugars and make it thicker then poured on snow. If you don't bake it first, it just soaks the snow and it isn't good…

  12. just wanted to let you know thats a women's hockey mask the men's is just a plastic shield to cover the eyes women wear the cage

  13. Small correction, Tire d'Érable isn't just maple on snow.

It's maple boiled, usually for a few hours in a big vat, thickened quite a bit, THEN dripped on snow while still hot.
The boiling hot, thickened maple syrup on snow almost instantly gets super sticky, and you can eat it with Popsicle sticks. The extremely cold side (on snow) mixed with rapidly cooling top side makes this incredibly special

  14. For the ''tire d'érable'' you have to first boil the maple syrup and THEN put it on snow 🙂

  15. We collectively sincerely apologize to any visitors for any death that may occur from overconsumption of our staple foods. Please do not add Poutine to the geneva conventions thank you.

  16. Love these videos but real shit, it's getting super annoying when they hide so much shit behind their membership.

  17. wow what a great video! i watched this with my twin! shout out to my twin! Whoever can be my twin. They gotta do rock paper scissor. Damn Caius forfeited. olivia won!

  18. Mood the time we go to one of the many Maple Sugar Shacks and get maple taffy on snow. Boiled down till it’s super thick, then poured on snow, and wrapped onto a popsicle stick.

  19. The first trivia question is wrong. The answer given is what dominion day was. It was renamed to canada day when we amended BNA to create our constitution and charter of rights

  20. He fails to mention that Vancouver is one of the most expensive places you could choose to live in Canada.
